The Ø43 mm Hot Stab is designed in accordance with API 17H Type 1 and is available in multiple types and configurations to suit a wide range of applications, including topside tooling applications, subsea operations, function testing, and flushing.
It features Ø8 mm bores for maximum flow capacity and minimal pressure drop, and each unit is pressure‑tested to 1.5 × the design pressure. Typical pressure drop is approximately 15 bar at 50 L/min.
The Hot Stab can be operated by an ROV or a diver. It offers low mating force, easy engagement, and an integrated flex joint between the stab and the D‑handle. A locking mechanism is available for critical applications.
Configurations include 1‑, 2‑, 3‑, and 4‑port options for maximum flexibility. Matching components such as 1–4 port receptacles, pressure stabs, dummy stabs, and parking receptacles are also available.
