The FLOT is designed to operate as an ROV‑mounted simplification tool, allowing heavy applications such as torque tools, MQC plates, and flying leads to be operated by ROVs. The Flying Lead Orientation Tool, or FLOT, is designed and built to make both operation and maintenance tasks easier. The tool allows for angular and rotational orientation of a Class 4 torque tool to aid in the connection of flying leads subsea.
