Exail (iXblue) Phins 6000: Inertial Navigation System

Phins is a subsea inertial navigation system that provides precise position, true heading, attitude, speed, depth and heave measurements. Its high‑accuracy inertial measurement unit is coupled with an embedded digital signal processor running an advanced Kalman filter. The Exail (iXblue) PHINS 6000 variant offers the same capabilities with a 6000 m depth rating. PHINS is also available in a DVL‑Ready configuration, allowing the system to be assembled and pre‑calibrated with a Doppler Velocity Log for easier installation and enhanced navigation accuracy. Typical applications include AUV navigation, towfish navigation, metrology, precise positioning and out‑of‑straightness surveys.
