The Exail (iXblue) Octans 3000TI G4 is a subsea, survey‑grade gyrocompass and complete motion sensor rated for water depths up to 3000 m. Built on Exail’s proven Fiber‑Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology, it provides precise heading, roll, pitch, heave, rate‑of‑turn and acceleration outputs. Octans Subsea can also be easily upgraded to full INS capability (such as Rovins) when required. Typical applications include ROV and offshore survey operations, multibeam and sonar motion referencing, as well as dredging and marine construction.
