The MT912S and MT932S series miniature transponders are compact, lightweight and rugged MF acoustic transponders/responders designed for underwater positioning and tracking applications. The MT912S is rated for operation down to 1,000 m water depth, while the MT932S is rated to 3,000 m, making both ideal solutions for AUV, ROV and towfish tracking. Versatile and easy to configure, they can be adapted to suit virtually any underwater vehicle. Developed using Exail's (formerly iXblue) new-generation electronics and proven wide-spectrum technology, the transponders are fully compatible with the GAPS long-range, fully integrated MF-USBL acoustic positioning systems. They feature an omnidirectional transducer and are supplied with an internal rechargeable battery pack, while also supporting operation from an external power supply.
